From Managing Partner

It is safe to say that the age-old Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times" applies to the Icelandic business scene in these times of radical change. Status quo is probably the easiest way to live.
However, times of turmoil do bring about new opportunities - especially for a dynamic law firm such as LOGOS. The legal framework of Iceland´s business sector is being challenged in an unprecedented way. Various laws and regulations have been revised and further modifications are on the horizon, even of the Icelandic Constitution. Whether disagreements are to be settled, interests kept or new opportunities pursued, the need for excellent legal servies has become greater than ever before.
Furthermore, these new circumstances make the principal qualities of LOGOS even more evident; now it reaps the benefits of its new managerial methods emphasizing quality, organization, project management and teamwork - using to the fullest the potential of its versatile team of legal professionals. This has been duly noted by international appraisal companies in the field, earning its domestic and foreign branches recognition and praise.
Incidentally, Iceland´s population is roughly 300.000, which obviously limits companies´ growth potentials. Despite having a bad reputation, the so-called invasion of Icelandic companies of international markets has in many important cases proven very successful. Nonetheless, experience shows that gradual luck is the best kind, and proceeding cautiously is vital. With that as a guiding light, LOGOS´ operations in Copenhagen and London continue to thrive.
At both branches, Scandinavian companies are increasingly predominant on the client list, as a part of LOGOS´ adaptation strategy regarding the Icelandic business sector´s altered landscape. Nonetheless, collaboration with a wide selection of companies with a vested interest in the sector continues to be the focal point of our operation.
Therefore, I, on behalf of LOGOS, look to the future with great confidence and optimism, certain that we will continue to prosper in these interesting times.
